Chief’s Labyrinth


Chief’s Labyrinth was created at Muleshoe Recreation Area LCRA Park near Spicewood Springs in February of 2017 by members of the Austin Shamanic Community, The Austin Labyrinth Project and Blue Eye Art. As part of the ongoing exploration and ceremony that revolves around Labyrinth work, this site will help to honor and respect this place. Please feel free to explore this site and please go visit this very special place.

Directions to Chief’s Labyrinth at Muleshoe Recreation Area

Muleshoe is an LCRA park near Spicewood Springs, Texas. It is located off of Highway 71 and can be reached from either Paleface Ranch Road or Gregg Drive.
Google Map directions to Muleshoe:
When you arrive at the Park, ask the Ranger where the Labyrinth is.
There is a $5 per adult fee to enter the park.
The Labyrinth is located across the road from Campground 28 (see map below).
   (Please note that this road could be gated off so you may need to park and walk in.)
Four times a year there will be a “Caretakers” gathering at Muleshoe to do some cleaning and maintenance, both physically and energetically.
