Sitting across from you
Across the expanse
The other side of the world
You upon the Western horizon
Me here in the East
While I rise, I watch you retire
While I am born, you pass away
While I am fearful, you are depressed
While I anticipate, you remember
I imagine you are wondering about my view
Just as I am wondering about yours
Maybe you are judging me
Just as I judge you
This circle we sit at
This oh, so intimate yet massive circle
I think I will come sit with you for a bit
And see what you see
