On this day
Please touch those who exist with so little
Who sit out in the cold
And who live without a home.
Please provide an open door,
With a smile that warmly greets them,
A hot meal,
And a large wool blanket waiting.
Please have compassion for them,
Please show us all
How to have compassion for them.
So be it.
