I stand again today
At a time set aside
Where a seed of Hope is sprouting
And I pray for you, my girl,
To find Love for yourself
And to find the Grace to be in this world.
I stand as if over you
To offer protection and strength,
But it is only an offering — not a demand
And I can only pray that you will freely take
This gift that only a Father can give.
