Sun God

Sun God :

Sunlight settles over the pine trees
And for a very brief moment
Shines through the pine sap
Creating an amber spot of brilliance
On the needle-littered ground.

A still pond with a mirrored face
Hide the slim silver fish
Who seem to watch the bird of prey
Perched high above upon the pine limb
Who is watching them in return.

Silence glitters as the trees in the wind
Flutter and primp themselves
Within their reflection far below
Maybe trying to make a good impression
For that Sun God we all worship.

This is my journey
