The Collector :

In this modern world, it becomes easy to become a collector of friends and experiences and memories. There is so much wonder and beauty out there and there is a thrill in touching as much of it as possible.

This is all placed upon our shelf so we can go back and reminisce and pat our own backs and say how much we have done.

But very quickly we forget where each knickknack came from.

There is an enormous amount of wisdom and happiness within loving and learning the details. And the details are so often glossed over. Those “in love” moments should not be moved aside for the next shiny thing.

On the long walk, hear the words of the birds and feel the chill of the stream running over toes. Learn how the crystals are formed and how to grow the healthiest greens and how to build a drum and play a flute.

Discover how each friend truly sees the world.

Always try to listen to each individual word being spoken, knowing that your words are being heard in turn.

This is my journey
