The Talking Stick

The Talking Stick :

Each in turn holds the stick with intention while they speak. It’s purpose is to facilitate respect and integrity within the confines of the community circle. The attention you give to another holding the stick is repaid when your turn comes.

The stick is also a personal sacred object for communing with guides and spirits. While on a journey, imagine handing the stick to a spirit guide to allow him to say his Word to you while you listen. Now imagine the guide handing it back with reverence, allowing you to say your Word.

The following Talking Stick was gifted to my friend, Torie.

More information on the uses of this sacred tool can be found in this online post at Indian Country Today

This is my journey.
