Huddled below
Protected and nurtured?
Or cowering in fear of judgment?
Looming over the head
The wall is never just a wall
It is what the child inside defines it as.
We each have a wall looming over us
And we each stand as part of the walls of others.
Let us all define our walls ,
Both our own and those we create for others,
As a place of compassion and safety.
This is my journey,
